EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE!

Many people confuse the expression of emotions with weakness, most often associated emotional control with strength and will power. I read some where that you don't have to be a robot operating without feeling, to be effective, e.g. stuffing and stifling emotions does not make you an effective communicator - just effective in masking what you are feeling.
There are people that are so close off emotionally, so guarded that they came across as dispassionate and insensitive to others, that's not likely to win one friends. Understanding how to authentically manage our emotions, whatever they are in the most constructive way possible is a key component of emotional intelligence for instance the most challenging thing is standing up for ourselves, this because emotional intelligence allows us to stand up and speak up in a healthy, positive ways by drawing on all the skills practiced and putting them to work in a new way...
